Byron “Bo” Zeigler the 6’6” 180 pound forward out of Detroit has Indiana University calling his number. It’s not just Indiana though, schools including: Central Michigan, Iowa State, Michigan and Michigan State are keep a close eye on him. This kid is a rubberband man on the floor, offensively and defensively.
Zeigler can use a speed burst dribble and glide towards the hoop with ease, it doesn’t matter from which side of the court, Zeigler is effective with both hands. On defense he can look like a smaller Hakim Warrick when he throws up his long arms to block a shot.
The Hoops Window caught up with Zeigler to find out how the recruiting process was going thus far. We asked if the Detroit standout had any current leaders and he responded by saying, “Not yet, but I’m gaining interest in Indiana.” Zeigler loves the staff in Bloomington. “The way they care about the players, the fans, it’s a basketball state and it has tradition.” Zeigler is scheduled to visit the campus in Bloomington in August after he was contacted by Indiana’s assistant coach McClain.
